Okay, so I'm officially a "Tree hugger."

I seriously have so much to catch up on...yet I can't help procrastinate a bit longer by sharing with all of you this gorgeous 'Tree of Life' sun catcher I just bought for my car.

Let the droolage commence ...

So pretty. So sparkly.

The original description of the sun catcher was composed far more informative and elegant than I'm capable of, so I'll just sum the meaning up by copy and pasting (aint no shame in my game)...

"The Tree of Life is a universal symbol found in many spiritual traditions around the world. It symbolizes life itself, with it's branches reaching for the Heavens "Father Sky" and it's buried roots, linking to "Mother Earth". The tree has become a symbol of love, wisdom, rebirth, strength, redemption, friendship, bounty and encouragement."

The older I get the more I find myself turning into my Mom. Yes, ladies. It's true - We're all slowly but surely morphing into our mothers. There's no point in crying, denying, or fighting it. It's just part of life. One that becomes glaringly obvious the minute you're within a 2 foot radius any child - whether they be your own or someone else's. So do as I do. Suck it up, continue rambling the very same "because I said so's" as she did and move the hell on.

For a while now my mother has been a very 'spiritual' person. She performs Reiki on our family (pets included), firmly believes that positive thinking can and will make your dreams come true, and tries her hardest to surround herself with only good 'energy.' And while I'm not yet hovering my hands over Carl's head when he's got a migraine, I am, like Mom, looking to embrace the positive in my life and let go of any negative. And if purchasing this 'Feng Shui' sun catcher - which claims to 'increase the balance of Yang in your life, which brings a healthier frame of mind and body.' - means I've officially stepped into the realms of 'tree hugger,' well then so be it. I'm just one more step closer to becoming Betty. Which is something I'm 99.9% okay with.

For the record: This is in no way a sponsored post - this is just me generously sharing a little gem I found floating around the internet. If you, like my Mom and I,are willing to join the 'tree hugger' club and would like to purchase your very own Tree of Life sun catcher, you can visit the Etsy shop of Life Force Energy. As well as these STUNNING Feng Shui hand made sun catchers, there are necklaces, bracelets, earrings.

    1. Shit, me too! Let's make a deal - if either of us wins with the help of our tree sparkle, we'll go halves with the other?! Yeah?
