So What Wednesday!

So What Wednesday
Happy Wednesday, love bugs!

On this cold December hump-day I'm linking up, for the first time in a LONG time (oh, the shame!) with the beautiful Shannon (who I want to take a minute to say a huge CONGRATULATIONS to after the announcement of her pregnancy with Baby Dew #2! YAY!) and saying a big, huge, fat, so what if...
  • This is my first So What post in well over a month. Life has been seriously crazy since moving back home and after my recent blog disappearance I am finally re-surfacing. Just call me Nessie. I'm Loch Ness Monstering this shiz.
  • I still haven't lost those last 5lbs I wanted to lose. Since I've moved home I've stayed exactly the same (it could be FAR worse, people. Trust me. I've been eating Paula Deen's Ooey Gooey Butter Cake...). Hopefully after Christmas I'll be able to knuckle down and finally reach my all time goal! Yay! :)
  • I haven't purchased hardly any Christmas presents yet, and Christmas is less than two weeks away. Gah! All I have to say about that is: roll on Friday. For Friday is filled to the brim with pay-day-gloriousness!
  • I have a large portion of a 5 gallon bucket full of homemade buttercream frosting sitting in my kitchen. Oh, and there may or may not be 6.5lbs worth of butter in it. Wondering what the hell for? Friday I have a ginormous cake order due (1 giant 2 layer Hobbit foot, 12 pool-ball chocolate raspberry filled cupcakes, and 80 - yes, 80 - vanilla cupcakes) and have spent every evening this week preparing some part of that order. I've got cake comin' out of my ears, friends!
  • I was so tired and lazy when I got home from my meeting tonight that I microwaved a Three Cheese Hot Pocket for dinner. I can verify that it was most certainly NOT as delicious as I remembered as a kid. Afterward I felt the same kind of dirty as when I eat a bag of McDonald's french fries. I'm also pretty sure that 80% of the cheese inside contained plastic. Gag. A. Maggot.
  • Color Run sent me an email with this video attached and I practically pissed my pants with excitement. I SO cannot wait to run it in Boston this summer! Gah!

  • I sing really loudly to myself whenever I have to walk from my car to the front door in the dark. I'm so paranoid one of the bears on our road might eat me. For cereal.
  • I plan to drive up to Burlington on Saturday in order to bust out some Christmas shopping and I've already slotted a good Barnes and Noble hour into my shopping schedule. Just to sit and admire and read. That place is Heaven on Earth. Fact.
Speaking of Barnes and Noble...
  • Whenever I go into a book store I grab the biggest book I can find and flip through the pages practically stuffing my nose inside. I adore the smell of books.
  • We're supposed to get snow Sunday night into Monday and I'm secretly praying for a snow day.
(Let it snow, let it snow, let it freakin' snow!)

Leave me some love and make me smile!
