Last Friday evening friends and family gathered together at our local event hall for mine and Carl's welcome home (graduation/yay you're married) party. And for the first time in years I was able to hug those very same loved ones who have welcomed my hubby with open arms and many kisses. It was such a humbling experience and there were moments throughout that evening where I thought my heart might explode because of overwhelming love.
Everyone knows that pictures are worth a thousand words. So, rather than bore you with my infamous long winded ramblings, I'm going to thank my adoptive-God Mother, Annie, for her fabulous photography (which was all done with her phone as the camera memory stick tried to rain on our parade) and share with you now, through photo's, our fantabulous welcome home.

I want to thank each and every single person who joined us for our special night. Carl and I are not only thankful for all of the generous gifts and cards we received but truly touched by all of the overwhelming love and support you've shown us. It was unbelievably heartwarming to stand in a room filled to the brim with friends and family. We love you all so much and thank you from the bottom of our hearts. It's because of you that our little Vermont community is so genuine and wonderful.
I could not have asked for a better place to call home, or a more supportive circle of loved ones. I am so blessed.
